Key messages for the public:

• The NHS will let you know when it's your turn to have the vaccine. It's important not to contact the NHS for a vaccination before then.

• Please act on your invite when it comes, and make sure you attend your appointments.

• All the while COVID-19 in in our communities it is important to follow the guidelines and remember Hands, Face, Space. It will save lives and help the NHS.

National Picture

Yesterday over 492,000 people were vaccinated.  That brings the total to 6.35m, well over 1 in 10 adults in the UK.  Over 75 per cent of over 80s have now received their first dose.

As of the 18th January, 4,062,501 people in the UK have received a vaccination. Over half of over 80s and half of elderly care home residents have been vaccinated.

Further to my post of the 10th January, I have had reconfirmation from the CCG that Billingshurst vaccinations are being organised alongside Storrington, Steyning and Henfield with a vaccination centre at The Glebe Surgery in Storrington.
