Thank you for contacting me about the Hunting Act.
As you know the Government did not table a relatively minor amendment to the Hunting Act which was proposed last year and would bring our Act into line with that enforced in Scotland because the SNP made clear that they would be voting against.
There was no commitment for a vote on this issue in the Queens Speech. I would be surprised therefore if it comes up again anytime soon. If it does though I have though every confidence we will be emailing each other!
