I was deeply saddened, as will be so many, by the announcement of the death of Frank King.
I spoke to Frank on Monday afternoon and he was in good spirits and looking forward to being back home in his beloved Horsham.
Through St Mary’s Church (which he served all his life), the Hornets, the Cricket Club, the Horsham Conservative Association and so many other local organisations Frank was at the very heart of our community.
His constant smile revealed his warmth, kindness and generosity of spirit.
He has touched the lives of so many of us and I will miss his encouragement, advice and wonderful reminiscences of the Horsham of his youth.
Frank’s friendly presence was a constant in a busy and changing town and we will all miss him deeply.
