I am delighted that Horsham Park has achieved “Local Favourite” Status in the Fields in Trust UK’s Favourite Park competition. The Park finished in the top 20% of public votes and was one of nine green spaces in the South East to receive this result.
This is a great achievement for Horsham District Council and the Park and for the Friends of Horsham Park who continue to improve the park for both users and wildlife.
Warnham Nature Reserve was also nominated in the competition and whilst, this year, it did not receive as many votes, it is a greatly loved green space. There are many events being held at the Nature Reserve including a guided bat walk on Friday 23rd September.
