Last night the Horsham and Crawley Branch of the Samaritans held their AGM. The Branch will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next year, which is an enormous record of service. Volunteers have carried out invaluable work listening to and supporting not only those in the Horsham area but also taking calls from people across the nation.
Later in the month, in partnership with both Friends of Horsham Park and Horsham District Council the Branch will be planting thousands of bulbs in Horsham Park. This “Bulbs for Life” campaign is a reminder of those who have died from suicide and the vital importance of looking after each other.
