I managed to speak last week in the "Queens Speech" debate on the day focussing on economics. After referencing comments made earlier in the debate, which is a courtesy to earlier speakers, I welcomed various Government measures from my perspective as a member of the financial inclusion commission. Lastly but most importantly I put concerns we have in Horsham into the national context: the requirement for a more reliable train service, getting expansion underway at Heathrow (taking those who would be impacted by Gatwick out of their misery) and welcoming the planned introduction of Fair Funding for our local schools.
