It was a pleasure to visit Holy Trinity School, Lower Beeding to discuss the £14bn funding injection into schools and how the Government can, on an ongoing basis, deliver the best possible allocation given the differing proportion of fixed costs to pupil numbers between small and larger schools. I was very grateful for the opportunity to talk through different models with the Head.
It was, as ever, also great to talk to pupils. The school has recently adopted “Skipping with a Difference”. The skipping ropes come armed with automatic number recording- pupils are ever able to see if they can improve their personal best.
