On Friday I visited the Horsham Wastewater Treatment Works operated by Southern Water to see the £28 million upgrades to improve efficiency and control and monitoring systems.
Southern Water recognise that they have a huge amount of work to do to regain public trust but with the plan for tackling storm overflows as part of the Government’s Plan for Water they are determined to build on the last twenty years which has seen significant improvements in water quality- improvements that need to continue as we significantly raise the bar to improve our environment.
