On Monday I visited the Phoenix Stroke Club, a social group helping stroke survivors. It was great to see the newly refurbished and improved clubhouse and how it can better support those attending the Club.
The Club took the very brave decision to go ahead with building works during the pandemic and raised over £315k for the works. A particular highlight was the much improved outdoor space, which provides the club with further space to enjoy.
It was great to see Club members, volunteers (including Dan a volunteer from Forest School), Club Supervisor Renata and Trustee Don Burstow.
