£150 million Investment in NHS Mental Health Urgent and Emergency Care Services

I am pleased that the Government is investing £150 million in NHS mental health urgent and emergency care services. Sussex is benefitting from this money with over £1 million allocated to Langley Green to improve facilities there.

I visited Langley Green last year to see the support they provide to those struggling with their mental health. Patients from Horsham and the wider District are seen at Langley Green and I am sure this investment will benefit patients and support the team.

Preventing Crime

We are all alive to the concerns regarding the increased risk of violent incidents, especially late at night, in Horsham.  The Police have a plan in place but I wanted to see it in execution and joined them on foot patrol in the town centre from 10pm Friday night to 3am Saturday morning.
