Since its launch, over 150,000 people have registered to become sponsors through the Homes for Ukraine Scheme. I am delighted that so many people have signed up to provide accommodation and support to those fleeing the awful war in Ukraine.

I am also delighted that as of Thursday 24th March, 20,100 visas have been granted through the Ukraine Family Scheme. I appreciate this must be a desperately worrying time for those living in the UK who have family in Ukraine. More information about the scheme can be found here: Apply for a Ukraine Family Scheme visa - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

I have been contacted by constituents who have registered as sponsors through the Homes for Ukraine Scheme, as well as constituents bringing family to the UK though the Ukraine Family Scheme who have run into specific issues. Where issues have been raised my team and I have raised these directly with the Home Office and have met the Minister to resolve issues for constituents where required.

Please do get in touch if you are experiencing issues with either of these schemes and I will do my very best to help. You can use the contact page to email me or alternatively you can use the following address: jeremy.quin.mp@parliament.uk

Preventing Crime

Thursday, 2 February, 2023

We are all alive to the concerns regarding the increased risk of violent incidents, especially late at night, in Horsham.  The Police have a plan in place but I wanted to see it in execution and joined them on foot patrol in the town centre from 10pm Friday night to 3am Saturday morning.
