Our entire community has been deeply affected by recent tragic events. I have been speaking extensively to the NHS, West Sussex County Council and with local Heads. It was also helpful to speak direct to a group of young people who wanted to raise their concerns. I have also spoken directly with the Minister for Patient Safety, Suicide Prevention and Mental Health.
All the local agencies are very focussed and working closely together.
As ever, I am keen to hear from constituents about their experiences and concerns about local services. I would ask constituents to email me on Jeremy.quin.mp@parliament.uk to raise these directly.
There is a dedicated website for CAMHS services which has a range of self-help tools and information for young people, parents, and professionals: www.sussexcamhs.nhs.uk .
There are also a number of other charities and organisations that can provide specific young person focused support, such as www.youngminds.org.uk www.e-wellbeing.co.uk and www.place2be.org.uk
