Sadly, 3,200 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer every year in the UK. Cervical screening and HPV vaccines can help to prevent cervical cancer. In West Sussex both the take up of cervical screening and HPV vaccines are above the national average but despite this in our area alone there are over 4,200 women who are overdue a screening appointment.
