Nymans Gardens is one of the National Trust’s most treasured gardens. It is beautiful in all seasons and the signs of spring are already popping up across the estate. There is much to see and do on the estate from the House itself owned by the Messel family, to the rose gardens, the woodland with lake and bird hides, to the Play Glade where families can enjoy the natural play area. The Garden in the Ruins is a particular highlight.
As is traditional with a National Trust visit there is afternoon tea and cake with the newly opened Riding House Café offering stunning views from the mezzanine floor.
There are regular events including family trails at Nymans as well as guided walks and outdoor tours. There are accessible facilities including a Changing Places toilet and all Terraine Wheelchair hire. Dogs are welcome November to February in the main gardens and throughout the year in the woodlands.
