Wakehurst Place in Adringly has over 500 acres of wild landscapes to explore, including ornamental gardens, woodlands and meadows. Particular Spring highlights is a carpet of bluebells in Bethlehem Wood (pictured) and bright spring blooms in the Water Garden.

Wakehurst is also home to Kew’s Millennium Seed Bank- an underground store of 2.4 billion seeds.

A “Superworm” family trail will take place over the Easter holidays (30 March- 23 April) featuring art installations and activities for children inspired by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s book.

As with the other posts please do comment below with your suggestions of local attractions to visit.
