We all very much appreciate the Royal Mail delivery service, delivered under a "Universal Service Obligation" and the "postie" is very much part of our culture. I know they work hard (as they did in particular through Covid) to keep the Mail flowing.
However I have been contacted recently by several constituents about delays to their Royal Mail postal deliveries. I have arranged to meet with our local Royal Mail team next month to discuss these delays and staffing issues.
Ahead of this meeting I would like to gain a clearer picture of the issues being encountered by constituents and I would therefore be grateful if you could fill out my brief survey below.
I will present the results of my survey to the Royal Mail and will follow up with respondents on the outcome of our meeting.
