Key messages for the public:

• The NHS will let you know when it's your turn to have the vaccine. It's important not to contact the NHS for a vaccination before then.

• Please act on your invite when it comes, and make sure you attend your appointments.

• All the while COVID-19 in in our communities it is important to follow the guidelines and remember Hands, Face, Space. It will save lives and help the NHS.

English Tourism Week and our Cautious Unlocking

Spring, finally, appears to have arrived! It is so good to see people out in Horsham looking much happier and I hope everyone was able to enjoy what I hope will be the last bank holiday weekend subject to remaining restrictions.

The Road Back To Normality

It will come as a very welcome relief to so many that schools are returning on 8th March.  For educational and social reasons schools quite rightly are the top priority in a purposeful programme to get us back to normality. 

Vaccine Update

With over 1 in 4 adults vaccinated and everyone over 70 having been offered a jab, the UK has made immense progress in making people safer, reducing the future demands on the NHS and creating a sustainable path out of lockdown.

Schools and the Challenge of "Catch-Up"

Nearly one in four adults in the UK have now received their first dose of a Covid vaccine. I have been pleased to hear from constituents who have had an excellent experience of receiving their vaccine at one of the local centres.

Over 70s Can Contact NHS for a Covid Vaccine

Local GP led vaccination centres continue to contact over 70s and those who are clinically extremely vulnerable, including those who are housebound, to book in vaccinations.

Covid and Vaccination Update

Local vaccine teams continue to make great progress.  Vaccines are being effectively delivered with “wastage”, at only 0.02 per cent, being kept to an absolute minimum.
