It was lovely to visit Olive Tree Cancer support Group on Friday at their new Horsham Centre and also to mark Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month last month.
They are a fantastic charity with extremely kind and caring volunteers providing support locally to people directly or indirectly affected by cancer.
I briefly sat in on a fascinating sleep support group meeting where those attending were able to share experiences and advice in a friendly and mutually supportive atmosphere, before having a look around their therapy rooms.
Their new location at Lavinia House in Horsham is a welcoming, calm and less clinical environment. It is brilliant to see them settling in so well.
I really do hope that anyone affected by cancer who would like support reaches out to them – they are a fantastic charity and would be only too happy to provide assistance. More information is available at: https://www.olivetreecancersupport.org.uk/
