Jeremy Quin, Member of Parliament for Horsham, visited i-Rock Horsham District to catch up with the team and hear how their first few months have been.
Jeremy said “Following my campaign to get i-Rock Horsham District opened in the town, I was so pleased when everyone came together earlier in the year to mark its opening.
“It was great to check in with team last week and hear how the service is being very well used by our local young people and that the team are on hand to give help and support to those who need it. It is an important option for young people locally not just addressing mental health concerns but any issue that young people want to raise and is really getting cut-through. Friends or parents of those who may need some support or “signposting” should be aware of the service and that no referral is needed.
i-Rock Horsham District is available to all 14-15 year olds living in the Horsham District who may have concerns about a wide range of issues, this can include concerns about their emotional and mental wellbeing. i-Rock Horsham District can be found on Hurst Road and appointments are available or young people can drop in without an appointment.
