Good news from the energy regulator Ofgem - they have announced a significant reduction of the energy price cap from 1 April. For an average household paying by direct debit for dual fuel this equates to £1,690 a year, which is a huge reduction from the peak at the beginning of last year when the energy price cap was set at £4,279.
The Government stepped in with massive support on energy bills (which reached £3,700 for the average household), but it is great to see that these pressures are reducing as we continue to bring inflation down.
