I continue to be very focussed on local Pharmacy services and how they can be improved. The majority of concerns raised with me relate to a small number of specific pharmacies. .
I am scheduled to meet the Regional Manager of one of the businesses concerned and am seeking the same with the other. I have no doubt staff are working flat out but I am keen to hear about resourcing and staffing levels.
I know how worrying it is when patients face long waits for medication and it is important that people feel they can easily access help from their chosen pharmacy. I will be providing a further updates.
