It is 75 years since the liberation of the concentration camps at the end of the Second World War.
Passage of time makes retaining the memory of those awful events so they are never repeated all the more important. It also means that those who survived the camps to bear witness become fewer.
The work of the Holocaust Educational Trust becomes all the more important and in this the 75th Anniversary Year, I joined MPs from across the political spectrum to commit to continue the memory of the past and work for the future.
