It was lovely to visit Mayes Park Farm on Thursday last week to discuss their exciting rewilding plans. They are working with Sussex Wildlife Trust to deliver improved biodiversity and it will be great to see how this rolls out. I am delighted that the farm will be laying on school visits to enable them to see the progress overtime.
We need to ensure that we both improve the environment and maintain resilient domestic food supplies but it's good to hear that the Government's approach to farming and the environment is enabling programmes that drive increased biodiversity across a very broad range of farming enterprises.
