I am regularly contacted by constituents concerned about the future of our planet and our environment. I am proud of the work the Government is doing to commit us to net zero, leading the world in combatting climate change and I always appreciate constituents taking the time to contact me on these issues.

Food Waste Update

At the end of last month, the Government launched new waste reforms to make it easier for people to do the right thing, maximise use, minimise waste and drive-up recycling rates.

It was great to visit the Knepp Castle Estate last week and hear more about the Weald to Waves project as well as the Adur River Restoration project, which has recently received funding under the first phase of the Landscape Recovery scheme.

Lovely to visit the Green Hub in the Horsham URC yesterday with a very lively discussion on local sustainability schemes ongoing alongside the repair cafe and refills. Over the road at St Johns the Fair Trade team were hard at work including advertising the November Market.
