Jeremy Quin MP for Horsham attended a Q&A session at Millais School on Friday 9th February.
The aim of the session was to bring to life what the students had been learning about our parliamentary democracy as part of their Citizenship course.
Jeremy said “The group of students were very engaged and I was pleased to be able to talk to them in further detail about Parliament, how it works and how MPs, Lords and the entire system works.
“I also enjoyed answering their questions which ranged from whether 16 year olds should have the vote, to reform of the House of Lords and whether those wishing to be MPs should have particular qualifications.
“A great discussion which I hope the students enjoyed.”
