I am extremely disappointed that the ASLEF and the RMT unions have called further strike action.
RMT members will take strike action on Thursday 20, Saturday 22 and Saturday 29 July. Services will start later and finish earlier than normal.
On 20 and 29 July, two trains per hour will serve Billingshurst, Christ's Hospital, Horsham, Littlehaven, Faygate and Balcombe in either direction.
On 22 and 23 July, buses will replace trains between Three Bridges and Horsham due to planned engineering work.
Similar to previous RMT strikes, services on the day after each strike day are expected to start later.
ASLEF has advised their members not to work non-contractual overtime between Monday 17 and Saturday 22 July. On these dates there will be an amended service with fewer trains.
Constituents should also be aware that separate RMT and ASLEF strike action by London Underground staff is due to take place between Sunday 23 and Friday 28 July.
