Yesterday I met the CEO of Southern Water to discuss the recent water outage. Prior to the meeting I went through the results to my survey- thank you to everyone who took part.
I raised with the CEO concerns around the incident itself, communications with customers, difficulty customers on the priority list had getting water delivered, the delay in setting up bottled water stations and making sure those with livestock receive deliveries.
Although I am pleased that compensation has been administered quickly I know there has been a few teething issues and I also raised this his attention. Anyone with outstanding compensation issues should in the first instance let Southern Water know direct.
Southern Water are due to finish their investigation of the outage soon and I will be meeting with them again to discuss the outcomes and learning.
