Jeremy consistently had one of the highest attendance records (as measured by voting- participating in 95% of all divisions) he has also previously enjoyed being among the most regular contributors to parliamentary debates. Since July 2018 Jeremy served as a Government Whip, a ministerial post that provides considerable direct access to other ministers, but by convention means that Jeremy cannot speak in parliamentary debates other than in organising the business of the Commons, for example moving debates and calling divisions.
